According to the requirements of our Ministry’s “Notice on Issuing the Plan for the Formulation and Revision of National Standards for Engineering Construction from 2000 to 2001” (Jianbiao [2001] No. 87), the General Institute of Construction Research of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, together with relevant units, The revised “Steel 11l41 Structure Construction Quality Acceptance Code” was reviewed by relevant departments and approved as a national standard, numbered GB50205-2001, and came into effect on March 1, 2002. Among them, 4.2.1, 4.3.1, 4.4.1, 5.2.2, 5.2.4, 6.3.1, 8.3.1, 10.3.4, 11.3.5, 12.3.4, 14.2.2, 14.3. 3 is a mandatory provision and must be strictly implemented. The original “Steel Structure Construction Quality Acceptance Code” GB50205-95 and the “Steel Structure Construction Quality Inspection and Assessment Standard” GB50221-95 were abolished at the same time. The Ministry of Construction is responsible for the management and interpretation of the mandatory provisions of this code. The General Institute of Construction Research of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry is responsible for the interpretation of the specific technical content. The Standards and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction organizes the publication and distribution of this code by China Planning Press.
