The steel plates are delivered in the normalized or normalized plus tempered state. The surface quality of the steel plate shall be free from defects such as cracks, cracks, bubbles, scars, folds, and inclusions. If there are any defects mentioned above, cleaning is allowed. The cleaning depth shall not exceed 50% of the thickness tolerance calculated from the actual size, and the minimum thickness of the steel plate shall be maintained.
The cleaning area is smooth and free from edges and corners. The ultra thick plate cnc flame cutting shall not have any layering.
In addition to the above provisions, other defects are allowed to exist, and their depth shall not exceed 50% of the thickness tolerance calculated from the actual size of the steel plate, and the minimum thickness of the steel plate shall be ensured.
Ultrasonic inspection of steel plates with a thickness greater than 20mm. The supplier shall conduct ultrasonic inspection one by one. Steel 1137 plates with a thickness not exceeding 20mm may also undergo ultrasonic testing by the supplier, as agreed upon by both parties and specified in the contract.
The testing method shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2970 “Ultrasonic Testing Method for Medium and Thick Steel Plates”, and the qualification level shall be agreed upon by both parties and specified in the contract.
