China’s alumina production in August was 6.466 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.1%; the cumulative output from January to August was 52.245 million tons, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year. The output of primary aluminum (electrolytic aluminum) in August was 3.155 million tons, an increase of 0.4% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to August was 26.076 million tons, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. Aluminum production in August was 5.097 million tons, an increase of 4.6% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to August was 39.551 million tons, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year. The output of aluminum alloy in August was 950,000 tons, an increase of 4.7% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to August was 7.381 million tons, an increase of 14.4% year-on-year.
