Thinning spinning, also known as powerful spinning, is developed on the basis of ordinary spinning. Its deformation characteristics are: the mandrel drives the blank to rotate, and the rotating wheel makes a feeding motion to continuously thin the blank point by point and stick it to the base. The required workpiece shape is formed by the core mold making molded-pulp (picture).
