The seal of the bar rolling mill combined with the plate quick joint is easily damaged and causes leakage. The reasons are as follows:
(1) The impact of the increased elevation error of the equipment where the male and female quick connectors are located. Due to the long-term wear and tear of the wear-resistant plate of the base of the rolling mill bracket, it is inconvenient to replace, causing the elevation of the combination plate installed on it to decrease. The wear-resistant plate of the base of the rolling mill frame is often replaced. When the height difference between the two exceeds the allowable adjustment range of the combination plate (5tmn) , the quick connector on the combination plate is easily deformed or scratched during the docking process and the seal is damaged. This is the main reason why the quick connector on the combination plate is easily damaged.
(2) Spare parts quality issues, resulting in oil leakage due to poor sealing quality or poor processing accuracy of quick joints. In addition, poor interchangeability of spare parts is also a reason for damage to quick connectors.
The handling measures are as follows:
(1) Replace the wear-resistant plate of the rolling mill bracket base;
(2) Strengthen the quality management of spare parts. Male and female quick connectors must be made by the same manufacturer. And require processing accuracy and improve the quality of spare parts;
(3) Strengthen the inspection of spare parts before they are put on the machine, and use the hydraulic test bench in the bar rolling mill to inspect all newly arrived spare parts to ensure the quality of the spare parts put on the machine is reliable.
