- (4) Confirm that the ammonia gas pressure is higher than the gas pressure, otherwise the gas backflow may cause a major accident. During the purging process. Different purging sequence should be adopted according to different purging purposes. In the normal shutdown of the furnace for maintenance, the blowing should be started from the DN900 valve and the heat exchanger, and in the accident state, the blowing should be started from the combustion section.
Although nitrogen is a non-toxic gas, people will die from suffocation in an oxygen-deficient, high-concentration nitrogen environment. Therefore, in the process of blowing nitrogen, attention should be paid to the problems of environmental ventilation and nitrogen leakage.
