●Characteristics and scope of application: Note: This steel has poor weldability, so attention must be paid when using it. ●Chemical composition:
Manganese Mn: ≤0.80 Sulfur S: ≤0.030 Phosphorus P: ≤0.035 Chromium Cr: 12.00~14.00 Nickel Ni: Allowed to contain ≤0.60 ●Mechanical properties: Hardness: annealing, ≤201HB, indentation diameter 3.9~4.3mm; quenching, ≥50HRC ● Heat treatment specification and metallographic structure: Heat treatment specification: 1) Annealing, 800~900℃ slow cooling or about 750℃ rapid cooling; 2) Quenching, 1050~1100℃ oil cooling; 3) Tempering, 200~300℃ Quickly cold. Metallographic structure: The structure is characterized by martensite. ●Delivery status: the steel is delivered in annealed condition. Forging: Oil-quenched die steel has some crack sensitivity. It is not suitable for rapid heating during forging heating. It is best to perform a preheating at 650-750 degrees. The forging heating temperature is 1130-1150 degrees, and the final forging temperature should be greater than 800-850. Degree, the upper limit temperature is used when the steel ingot is forged. When the blank is forged, take the lower limit temperature annealing: generally 780-800 degrees for annealing, heat preservation for 4-6 hours, ≤50 degrees/hour, cool to 550 degrees, air cooling, and isothermal annealing at 700-800 degrees for 2-4 hours, then Insulate again at 670-720°C, keep for 2-4 hours, and cool to 500°C at a cooling rate of ≤50°/hour.
