Factory state: soft melting to 225HB (maximum)
Steel characteristics: High chromium stainless steel with acid resistance. After quenching, the mold is extremely wear-resistant and has excellent cutting and polishing properties.
Usage: Suitable for all acidic plastic molds, such as P.V.C products, and for manufacturing technology transparent plastic molds, such as optical products, etc.
Forging: Start forging at 1050℃ and return to furnace for slow cooling at 850℃.
Annealing: 800-850℃ heat preservation and then furnace cooling at 600℃ air cooling, the hardness can reach 225HB.
Stress relief: Use a 650℃ protective gas furnace to heat through and then keep it warm for 1-2 hours.
Quenching: 1000-1050℃, then quenched with oil or air-cooled, and immediately tempered after cooling to 50-70℃. (The hardness can reach 55-57HRC) Tempering: immediately after quenching, enter the furnace for tempering at 200-250°C, and the tempering time is at least 2-2.5 hours.
