Adjusting the position of the oxygen lance can adjust the interaction between the oxygen jet and the molten pool, thereby controlling the blowing process. Therefore, the oxygen lance position is an important parameter of the oxygen supply system. There are two main factors to consider in determining the appropriate gun position:
First, there must be a certain impact area;
The second is to have a certain impact depth while ensuring that the furnace sheet metal fabrication industrial computer bottom cover is not damaged. If the gun position is too high, the impact area of the jet will be large, but the impact depth will be reduced, the stirring of the molten pool will be weakened, the TFe content in the slag will increase, and the blowing time will be extended.
If the gun position is too low, the impact area is small, the impact depth is increased, and the TFe content in the slag is reduced, which is unfavorable for slag formation and easily damages the furnace bottom. Therefore, the appropriate gun position should be determined. The oxygen lance position is expressed by the distance between the nozzle end surface and the calm molten pool surface.
The empirical relationship between the oxygen lance position (H/㎜) and the nozzle throat diameter (dthroat/㎜) is: porous nozzle H=(35~50)dthroat should be adjusted according to the actual blowing effect in production. Usually the ratio of impact depth L to molten pool depth Lo is: L/Lo=about 0.70. If the impact depth is too shallow, the decarburization speed and oxygen utilization rate will be reduced; if the impact depth is too deep, the furnace bottom will be easily damaged, causing serious splashing.
