The Iranian Mining and Mining Industry Development and Innovation Organization (IMIDRO) reported that in the first four months of this year (March 21 to July 22, 2021), Iran’s aluminum ingot production increased by 26.30% year-on-year.
The report also shows that in the first four months, the aluminum output of the four Iranian aluminum companies increased to 17.5 tons, while the same period last year was still 13.9 tons.
The IMIDRO report stated: “Iran Aluminum Corporation produced approximately 4 tons of aluminum ingots within 61,300 months, Al-Mahdi Aluminum Corporation produced 52,800 tons, Southern Aluminum Corporation produced 48,400 tons, and Iran Aluminum Corporation produced 12,700 tons. .”
In addition, the Iranian alumina company produced 75300 tons of alumina in the first four months, while the bauxite output during the same period was 338000 tons, an increase of 41% over the same period last year.Compared with the same period of the previous year, Iran’s bauxite output is still 240000 tons.
