I learn by myself and ask the masters for advice to enrich the theory with practice.” Not only that, he also actively participated in the development of various aerospace models, learning from colleagues to promptly clarify technical problems encountered on site; learning from workers and masters to discuss the process documents of spinning products and metal spinning industries; learning from leaders to understand the development prospects and direction of spinning. He was equivalent to a layman, but he spent two years to “bite” 7 professional courses.

10 years have passed. Yang Ruizhi, who was simple and green at the beginning, has become a technical backbone of the spinning specialty of the factory. He and his team have conquered a number of scientific research projects with self-protected intellectual property rights, such as the spinning of large titanium cnc spinning cylinders and the precision spinning of large aluminum alloy heads.

As a key component of nuclear magnetic resonance medical detection equipment, the aluminum alloy head has always been produced by British companies due to its extremely high product precision requirements and high processing difficulty. Yang Ruizhi and his spinning team have successively overcome the “forming barrier” and “precision barrier”. After repeated discussions and research, and continuous optimization of process parameters, they have successfully reduced the tolerance from 5 times the original drawing standard to 2 times the drawing standard. The appearance and precision of the product are almost impeccable. As a result, Yang Ruizhi has won praise from representatives of multinational corporate customers. The successful development of large-diameter titanium cylinders used to process key components in a certain metallurgical equipment has made the 359th Factory of the Sixth Institute one of the only two units in my country that have the ability to spin this product.

Behind the breakthrough in technical research and development are efforts and persistence that ordinary people can hardly imagine. As a party member, Yang Ruizhi took the initiative to normalize the “day and night” and “6+1” working status due to the heavy scientific research and production tasks. “In July this year, we received a task that was very urgent. The product processing method must be completed by spinning. It used to take at least more than a month from mold design to the completion of the first piece. We worked in three shifts and rushed it out in a week.” Looking back at that time, he almost didn’t sleep for three days, but Yang Ruizhi felt that it was worth it for the company and the country!

For the ambition of “serving the country through aerospace”, Yang Ruizhi has his unique understanding, that is, to do a good job every day. “The Sixth Academy of Aerospace has always had the style of a soldier. When an order comes, it is really necessary to go if there are conditions, and it is necessary to go if there are no conditions. The country has needs, and we must obey. This is a responsibility and a mission.” Yang Ruizhi said.
