What is slow type Steyr controlled cooling and what are the suitable steel grades? Slow type Steyr controlled cooling is designed to meet low-speed requirements such as cnc machining carbon fiber steel and alloy steel that cannot be met by standard type cooling.
The difference between it and standard cooling is the addition of a movable insulation furnace cover with a heating nozzle at the front of the conveyor.
By using a burner for heating and slow conveying, the Steyr conveyor can cool the loose coil wire at a very slow cooling rate.
The transport speed of its conveyor is 0.05~1.4m/s, and the cooling speed is 0.25~10 ℃/s. It is suitable for processing wire rods such as low-carbon steel 8620, low alloy steel, and alloy steel.
