Galvanized steel pipes are divided into cold-dip galvanized pipes and hot-dip galvanized pipes. Cold-dip galvanized pipe is electro-galvanized. The amount of galvanizing is very small, only 10-50g/m2. Its corrosion resistance is much worse than that of hot-dip galvanized pipe. Hot-dip galvanizing pipe reacts molten metal with cast iron matrix to produce an alloy layer, thereby combining the matrix and the coating.
Galvanized steel pipe size specification table description: W=C×[0.02466×(D-S)×S]
W–Weight of galvanized pipe per meter: kg/m
C–The weight coefficient increased by galvanized pipe compared with black iron pipe
D–outer diameter of cast iron pipe
S–Wall thickness of black iron pipe
