Deformation force

Deformation force refers to the force exerted by moving tools on deformed materials during metal etching aluminum. Such as the hammer head pressure P during upsetting (see figure), the roll pressure during rolling, the clamp tension during drawing, and the pressure of the squeeze rod during extrusion.

The deformation force is the sum of the projection of the unit pressure on the working surface in the tool movement direction: where P is the deformation force; p is the unit pressure on the working surface; F is the working area; α is the angle between the unit pressure and the tool movement direction. ;

FN is the projected area of the working surface in the direction perpendicular to the tool movement direction; p is the average unit pressure on FN.
